International Taekwon-do Federation
Evolutionary International Taekwon-Do Federation is the new Federation for the Progressive Development of Taekwon-Do (ITF). We are open to everyone interested in the development of Taekwon-Do (ITF). We offer both group and individual membership. We are guided by the 15-volume Taekwon-Do Encyclopedia of General Choi Hong Hi and Taekwon-Do Biomechanics (ITF). Significant attention is paid to the development and implementation of progressive training programs and competitive disciplines for children under 13 years old.
From August 26 to 28, 2022, a technical seminar for instructors teaching Taekwon-Do (ITF) was held under the guidance of Grand Master Rudolf Kang. This workshop was by the Malaysian Ministry of Sports and hosted by the Malaysian Institute of Sports. On August 27, 2022, Grand Master Kang, with the consent of the organizers of the seminar, announced the creation of a new international organization called: Evolutionary International Taekwon-Do Federation.

«It is my earnest desire that Taekwon-Do should retain its original concept and technique».
Following the second world war a new army was developed for Korea and a new martial art was created by a General of this new army. His name was Choi Hong Hi, and had been trained in the Japanese art of Karate as a young man, but had come to understand that Korea needed a fighting Art that was distinctly Korean and encapsulated the spirit and culture of its nation. He named this Art “Taekwon-Do”, to reflect the mythical Korean art of Taekyon and be defined as the way of the foot and the hand. Using the resource of the 29th infantry division that he commanded, he tested out the new techniques using his soldiers to develop what is now considered to be one of the most effective Martial Arts in the world. In 1966 he took his Art to the world when he established the International Taekwon-Do Federation (I.T.F.) and showed the abilities of his extraordinary exponents by bringing demonstrations of the Art to many countries. Taekwon-Do, as he developed it, is now known through the letters “I.T.F.” and is recognized as a true and effective Martial Art that is based on the application of logical technique to develop maximum power against an aggressor.
